It’s about a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening titles holding a laptop, typing a script.
Quite an impressive start to a show
. Featured in AniMat’s “Crazy Cartoon Cast: The Return of the King (of the Hill)” (2023). WOW, I just finished the second episode and I’m blown away by the way the story unfolded.
I honestly can’t wait for the next episodes to release
The fight scenes are perfectly animated and the setting is close to reality. The jokes are gasp-inducing and the consistency of the characters is pretty amazing. I’m impressed with the start of the DCU and can’t wait for the Superman movie.
